Battle of Lexington
The battle of Lexington and Concord started at 1775 and it ended at 1783, witch ment that it lasted for 8 years. It took place at Massachusetts, Lexington. The battle was here because the colonist was trying to keep the British away from Concord, witch is were the colonist stored thier wepons and the British didn't like that. The commander of the colonial forces was Captain John Parker, two other colonial soldiers were John Buttrick and John Hancock. The number of the colonial soldiers that fought was 250, and the British had 700 soldiers. Speaking of the British, thier commander was General Thomas Gage and the other two British soldiers were Lord Huge Percy and John Pitcairn.
The outcome of the war was that the British retreated, witch made the colonist chase after them. ( still shoting )
