The Boston Tea Party
Boston tea party took place in the Boston harbor. It took place on December 16, 1773.
It lasted one day and for three hours. tTe colonist was mad baecause they had to pay taxs on on there tea. Samuel Adams, John Hancock , John Adams were apart of this event.

They did this because they didn't like the British tea taxes. The Americans got mad at the British because the British East India Compony would trade only with the British merchants. In September they put 500,000 pounds of tea in the market. They would lose money if there was to much tea. The American Revolution would have been different without this event because the American Revolutionary War would of been different.
They wanted to lower the tea taxes. They didn't wont taxes on the tea so they dumped it over. They shut down the harbor and the tea party last for three hours.
